From the carpark SW 393 333 find the road opposite, then find a track on the left, signed Higher Boslow Farm. Follow the track as it bends first to the right then to the left, where track bends to left again into a yard, find a staircase stile straight ahead. The stile has the bottom two steps missing on the far side, so there is quite a distance to drop, around 60 cm (2 foot).
Turn right and follow an indistinct path towards a rocky outcrop, at the end of the path turn left to follow another path downhill to reach another path on the right at SW 388 327. Follow this path then take the next path on the left, there is a small stone circle ahead. Take the next path on the right at SW 386 324 and follow this path to reach a gate.
Pass through the gate then turn right onto a wide path, follow the path to pass first a pond then a house, both on the left. Just past the driveway to the house find a gate on the left, then cross the field heading towards the distant church tower. Cross a stile then continue in the same direction to reach a marker post, cross the stile and follow the footpath beyond some distance, as it passes between hedges to reach a gate. Turn left to follow another narrow footpath between hedges which leads onto a lane. Turn left then after 20 metres, right onto a footpath which leads to a road at SW 375 318.
Cross the road to the road opposite and follow it uphill, find a footpath on the right between the last two houses, pass over a stile and through a gate then cross the field keeping to the left-hand boundary to reach another stile. Cross New Road to footpath opposite and follow the path to reach the church. Walk down Church Street to reach St. Just Market Square, SW 370 314, where there are refreshments and toilets.
From Market Square, walk to the right of the Co-Op, then turn left into Cape Cornwall Street, then second right into Boswedden Road, cross over an intersecting road and where the road bears right, continue on the track ahead SW 367 315.
Follow this track to reach a stile to the left of a gate, continue ahead about three quarters of the distance of the next field then look for a stile in the right-hand boundary at SW 361 318. Cross three fields with stiles, the last being in the right-hand corner, in the next field keep to the right-hand boundary, to reach a stile. Turn left and climb stile to footpath, pass another stile to reach a lane. Turn left to pass Boscean Pottery and Farm, then take the footpath ahead with a chimney on the right to reach a track, with a house on the right, at SW 364 323.
Turn left to follow the track, keeping to the right at the next two junctions (do not turn hard right at the second) and continue on the Public By-Way not the Coast Path, to pass the mine workings. At the end of By-Way turn right onto the lane, then take the second track on the left at Botallack Manor. SW 367 330.
At the barn find the track to the right, follow the track to reach a gate, after the gate follow a footpath that follows the fence line on the right to reach a stile and gate. Cross two fields to reach a stile, take the left-hand exit from the stile, then keep to the right-hand boundary in the next field. In the next field again keep to the right-hand boundary and follow it around to reach a stile half way along the far boundary at SW 369 335.
Cross the field keeping to the left-hand boundary to find a path between two houses. Pass through the gate, then cross the courtyard bearing slightly right to pass through a wide gate by Nineveh Cottage. Keep to the right-hand boundary in the field to reach a marker post and stile, again in the next field keep to the right-hand boundary to reach a stile. Cross over a track to a stile then turn left onto a bridleway. At the end turn right to follow the lane through to Levant Road at SW 370 339.
Turn left to follow the road, before reaching the carpark take the footpath on the right to pass Levant Mine workings. At the second marker post, take the right-hand path and follow it to reach a road. Turn right to pass through the Geevor Mine Centre. After the gate turn left, then left again to pass by the toilets, continue in the same direction to reach a low stile to the left of a gate. Continue ahead cross a parking area, then turn right onto a road, the almost immediately find a footpath on the left at SW 378 347.
At the cottage turn left to follow the footpath, cross over 2 stiles, then cross a field to reach another pair of stiles. Follow the path across the National Trust property of Trease – North Boscaswell Mine – (see Note 1).
At the concrete structure turn right and pass the gate and follow the path to reach the road at SW 382 347. Turn left and at the end of the road find the footpath opposite, turn right by the ‘Old Barn’ and follow the footpath through a gate then diagonally right across the field to a stile between gates. Keep to the left-hand boundary in the next two fields before crossing the third field to a stile and the fourth to a gate. Cross the road to another stile, then cross two fields to reach the road at SW 390 347.
Turn left and follow Ponds Hill to find a track just past ‘Bojewyan House’ on the right. Follow the track to farm yard, then turn right between the last two barns, then left at the house to follow the footpath.
At the end of path, turn right to follow the track, keep right at the fork, then take the next path on the right at SW 396 338 and follow the path back to the start. At the time of writing a section of this path was flooded, but there is a way past the flooding on the left of the path but it is still boggy and care needs to be taken.
