On the road head roughly east towards Newlyn to pick up a footpath on the left at SW 4577 2695, over a low stile. In the field, keep to the left-hand boundary, pass over a stile and through a series of gates and a stile to reach a field, continue straight ahead across 2 fields with stiles and in the next field head slightly right to find a stile in the hedge.
Turn left on to the track then immediately right to a stile and gate, head diagonally right to stile in far-right corner. Join the Kerris road, turn left and follow road to where the road bears left. Find a set of stone steps on the left-hand side of a stone building cross the field to the far left corner and cross over the stile to turn right back onto the Kerris road. Follow the road to pass through Kerris Manor Farm and continue on the track beyond.
Where the track bears left find a gate ahead, cross the next 3 fields pass through gates, the last of which is in the bottom left corner. In the next field find a gate to cross over the stream, then turn right to follow the track, cross over a stile and cross another stream.
Follow the track ahead then turn right to follow it uphill to reach Bojewan’s Farm at SW 4334 2730, turn right past the house and follow the lane to join the Penzance to St Buryan road at Hendra.
Turn left on to the road and shortly find a set of stone steps on the right, which leads on to a lane, pass through the farm then turn left and pass through a gate to find a stile on the right. Keep to the left-hand boundary in the first field, then the right-hand boundary in the second to reach a stile and the A30 beyond.
Cross directly over the A30, SW 4250 2810, ‘The Blind Fiddler’ can be seen on your right, cross the field to the far left corner to pass through a gap in the hedge, keep to the left-hand boundary to pass through a gap in the hedge then head diagonally across the field to reach a metal gate in the bottom right corner, cross over a track to the footpath opposite and pass over a stile to cross 2 fields keeping to the right-hand boundary, then over as tile to join a track. Find a tumbled down stile against the fence on the left then cross the field to a stile in the far corner at SW 4217 2904.
Turn left onto the Drift to Brane road and follow the road to a footpath on the left at SW 4180 2888. Follow this footpath across a field keeping to the left-hand boundary to another road at Anjarden, turn left then find a footpath on the right, follow this path across two fields keeping to the left-hand boundary in the first and the right-hand boundary in the second, to re-join the road, continue straight ahead, following the road past Tregonebris farm, after passing a small wooded area find a footpath on the left at SW 4155 2812.
Follow this path across two fields with stiles, to once again cross the A30. Follow the lane opposite passing a standing stone, to turn right at Boscawenoon. Stay on this lane a short distance to find a footpath indicated on the right, take the next footpath on the left at the marker post. Cross over the stile and in the field beyond keep to the left-hand boundary, pass through a gate to a stile opposite, in the next field head towards the distant church to a metal gate and a stile opposite. Follow the path through the wooded area, then over a stile into a field. Follow the left-hand boundary to a stile, turn left and follow the left-hand boundary around the field to another stile, again follow the left-hand boundary to find a stile on the left, then follow the right-hand boundary to a further stile. In the next field head diagonally left to a stile, turn right down a short path to reach the road at St Buryan SW 4103 2585 where there is a shop, toilets and a pub.
Turn right on to the road then left at the Methodist Chaple to reach the St Buryand to Lamorna road, turn left and follow this road for a disappointedly long distance before finding a bridle way on the left, at SW 4406 2577 just by the Lamorna Pottery tea shop.
Follow this path some distance through a wooded area, to reach a gate, continue ahead on the lane, then turn right on to a track at the end of the wire fencing, just after the lane bears left find a footpath on the right at SW 4454 2637. Pass over a stile and keep to the right-hand boundary, cross over another stile and in the field beyond head just to the left of the house (Red House) opposite. Pass over the stile and head across the field to join the track beyond, turn left and follow the trak to find a stile to the right of the wooden gates. Cross another stile and pass to the left of a stone building. Follow the path to cross 2 streams to reach a stile into a field, turn right at SW 4538 2662, and follow the right-hand boundary to reach a stile. Cross the next 2 fields, both with stiles, diagonally to the left, turn right on to the footpath to reach the road, turn left to return to the starting point at Sheffield.
