From the Malakoff, join The Terrace then up the steps to Treggena Terrace turn right and walk along road to join Park Avenue. Find a footpath on the right SW 514 402 which leads on to The Burrows.
Find another footpath on the left, between buildings, at Trenwith Square, SW 513 401.
Follow path to find a stile, cross the next two fields with stiles. Cross another stone stile and pass through the gate to cross another two fields diagonally. At the road turn right into Trewidden Road SW 516 401 and right again into Higher Trewidden Road.
Follow lane at the end of the road, turn left on to the footpath at the end of the lane and at the end of this path turn right on to Trenwith Lane SW 515 395.
Find a path on the left SW 514 396, which leads to Corva Farm, bear left at the farm buildings and at the end of the lane turn right onto Steeple Lane, look for the footpath on the right SW 511 390, waymarked Halsetown andfollow this path which leads to three fields separated by gates.
In the third field find a standing stone from here you can see Knills Monument which is the next destination on the walk.
Follow the lane down to the entrance to Polmanter Touring Park and turn left and follow the road find a footpath on left SW 5136 385 (St Michaels way), take the right fork at junction to pass Knills Monument.
Take footpath on far side and follow it down the hill. At end of path SW 520 386 turn left at the ‘Danger Mineshafts’ sign and follow this path to join Steeple Lane.
Turn left onto footpath SW 519 390 then right at the end of the path.
Turn left on to road SW 5183 393 pass the school follow the path ahead turning right at the end on to Belyars Lane.
Turn right on to Talland Road and left on to Pednolver Terrace and immediately right to join The Terrace.
Cross the road to find the start point at the Malakoff.
