About WCFPS Walks

The Walks List is issued three times each year and includes notices for evening meetings, the annual lunch and AGM agenda.

Walks normally take between 3 and 5 hours, including a break for a self-catered packed lunch.
The walk details will mention those occasions when a pub lunch is planned.
Suitable clothing and footwear are essential.
You walk at your own risk.
Whenever possible please car-share to minimise parking problems.
Dogs must be kept under close control at all times .

In extreme weather conditions walks may be cancelled. Please telephone the leader at least one hour in advance if you think the weather conditions may cause cancellation.

PLEASE carry secateurs —- By cutting small brambles back as they appear there are fewer larger growths to remove later.
If anyone knows of a path within the original West Penwith area which is blocked by vegetation or obstructions, or even blocked for a short time due to cropping please let the Society’s Rights of Way Officer know for future clearing days. ROW@wcfps.co.uk

The Ramblers Association is inviting members to get involved in creating and checking route cards. These will be submitted to the RA via www.ramblersroutes.org and checked by other members before being included in the database to be available to the general public on www.ramblers.org.uk
