PENWITH LANDSCAPE PARTNERSHIP
The Penwith Landscape Partnership, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Cornwall Council and other sources, is delivering a five-year programme of work aimed at conserving and enhancing Penwith’s unique landscape.
The PLP’s access project supports the enhanced maintenance and promotion of pathways around the peninsula; focussed on a set of routes that link archaeological sites using existing Rights of Way and paths on access land, delivering works on the ground largely through a programme of volunteer activity.
A key element of this is to seek to join up the Tinners’ Way and promote it as a longer-distance linear walking route, as well as contributing towards efforts recording historic paths on the definitive map for the 2026 deadline.
